How Our Profanity Filter Works with Domino CRM

Today, we would like to focus on a functionality of utmost importance when running a group chat via the Domino CRM no-code chatbot builder. We mean our profanity filter. In most jurisdictions, you carry responsibility for what actually occurs in the group chat. Thus, it is your task to fend off profanities. If you do not have dedicated moderators monitoring the group chat 24/7, you need a tool capable of tackling this challenge, both automatically and instantly.

Here is why this is important:

1. Enhancing UX. Filtering out profane or offensive language is a way to nurture more welcoming environments and encourage respectful interactions. This fosters higher engagement, beyond doubt.

2. Protecting vulnerable audiences. Children, adolescents, and adults from vulnerable groups are active participants in conversation. Anti-obscenity filters will shield them from exposure to inappropriate content (and protect your own company from legal risks).

3. Legal compliance. Most countries have regulations prohibiting the distribution of obscene materials online. Implementing these filters via the Domino CRM no-code chatbot builder ensures compliance with such laws.

4. Maintaining brand reputation. Cyberspaces that allow unchecked obscene content risk damaging their respective images. This may lead to user attrition and loss of trust.

5. Preventing abuse and harassment. Obscene language can be a tool for bullying or harassment. Here, filters will act as potent deterrents against such behaviors.

The bot automatically removes any inappropriate messages and imposes up to five restrictions on the sender (you can reduce or expand the number by clicking on “+” or the trash bin icon). These actions may include issuing a warning, temporarily limiting the user to read-only mode, or completely blocking them by removing them from the group for violations.

Please note: your list of forbidden words can be customized. We have already uploaded a list of the most widely used ones. However, if you need coverage for other languages, dialects, or subculture slang, feel free to add them as well (enter words separated by a comma and a space. Only alphabetic characters are permitted).

Don't leave your online community's well-being to chance. Activate Domino CRM's profanity filter today and ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all users.
