Automated Sequences in Telegram with the Domino CRM Builder

Our team introduced automated sequences in Telegram so that Domino CRM users can get the most out of every chatbot interaction with their clients. An automated sequence of messages will be triggered as soon as a contact reaches the 'Sequence' node in the flow.

For example, imagine everything went smoothly, and the client completed the entire funnel. What should you do with a paying and loyal customer? That’s right, re-engage them.

Or maybe you need to send content at regular intervals after the client’s last interaction: new workouts, new course lessons, new sessions, new offers, and so on. This is a perfect tool for info businesses, coaching, entertainment, fitness, and educational projects in trading or digital assets.

Here is an example of such a flow: follow the Telegram link and try this simple flow by yourself (you will need to wait 1–2 minutes before receiving the messages).

Important: Since this is just a demo flow for you to try out, we did not include catalog or payment nodes. In a real setup, the best time to launch an automated sequence in Telegram is right after a successful payment. You can learn how to set that up in our blog.

Want a similar funnel? Only better and tailored to your needs? Then check out our step-by-step guide to every element of Telegram automated sequences in Domino CRM below!

How to Create a Telegram Sequence

In your Domino CRM account, you will find a dedicated ‘Sequences’ section in your Domino CRM dashboard. Open it.

Naturally, you can have multiple Telegram sequences for different scenarios. To create a new one, click ‘+ New Sequence.’ You will instantly move to the message editor, where all the key fields are available for setup.

Here is what you can add:

  1. A catchy title to grab attention

  2. Timing: either immediately or with a certain delay after your previous message

  3. The message itself, with dynamic variables like the user’s name, previous order, and more

  4. A link in the message bod

  5. A file, such as an image

But the key element of any Telegram sequence is the button. It is what guides your contact through the next step.

With Domino CRM, your Telegram sequence button can either:

  • Link directly to an external URL
  • Or carry a trigger payload that starts a new flow when the user taps it

Tip: Remember to save the correct payload and insert it properly.

Here is how:

  • Open the flow that should be triggered by the sequence

  • Add a trigger button

  • Paste the payload into the button field as shown below

Once you are done editing messages, go back to the main ‘Sequence’ level (note: one Telegram sequence can contain multiple messages). Domino CRM will automatically display all the stats and performance data for each sequence.

From there, it is simple:

  • Open the chatbot flow where you want to add the sequence
  • Insert a ‘Sequence’ node at the right point
  • Choose your Telegram sequence by name
