How to send a message to everyone in a Telegram chat
Businesses often need to combine the work of a bot and a human: confirming bookings, closing deals, clarifying details, etc. A modern chatbot can generate and even confirm a request, but the final step still requires an operator, administrator, or sales rep.
Domino CRM offers a reliable tool for this. With the ‘Send a chat message’ node, the bot creates and sends a request, and the operator in the same Telegram chat confirms the terms and closes the deal. Everything happens in one messenger, fast and seamlessly.
Example Flow
As an example, we took the 'Hotel' template with room booking and refined it. Specifically, we set up a message to be sent to the chat immediately after the guest submits their check-out date (bottom right corner, open the image in a new window to see all the details).

Note that the message includes three variables: check-in date, check-out date, and the contact's Telegram ID.

The message is instantly sent to the relevant Telegram private chat.

And if you click ‘Open Chat’, you’ll be taken straight to the ‘Group Chats’ section, directly into this conversation. There you can continue communicating with the customer.

As you can already see, with the ‘Send a chat message’ node, you can:
- Trigger automated messages in group chats at any point of your flow.
- Establish direct communication with your operators by pinging them when needed.
- Generate requests or follow-up questions using variables and send them as messages.
In other words, with Domino CRM’s chatbot builder you now have a bot that writes messages to Telegram chats automatically on behalf of your team.
How to Send a Message to Everyone in a Telegram Chat
1. In the scenario builder, select the new ‘Send a chat message’ block and place it where you need it.

2. Enter the text of the message. Of course, you can use variables like a customer’s name or request ID.

3. Specify the chat that should receive the message, it can be a group channel or a more direct conversation. To do this, click ‘Add Chats’ under the message field.
Important Conditions
To make everything work correctly, please follow these rules:
1. Specify the chats where the message should be sent. You can use:
- A Telegram username, for example: @domino_crm or t.me/domino_crm
- A chat or channel ID, for example: -1002111740617
The leading minus sign (-) is important, as it indicates a group chat or a channel. Without it, the ID will be interpreted as a private chat.
2. Users must be subscribed to the bot in order to receive the message.
3. The bot must be added to the group chat or have administrator rights in the channel; otherwise, the message will not be delivered.
If these conditions are met, the idea of a bot that writes to a Telegram chat automatically becomes a reality.
How to Find the Chat_id
To locate a chat’s ID in Telegram:
1. Go to the ‘Group Chats’ section in Domino CRM.
2. Find the chat you need and click on it.
3. In the right-hand panel, expand ‘Group Information.’ The numeric Chat_id will be displayed there.

Sign up for Domino CRM and create a bot that will post to Telegram chats on its own. All in just a couple of minutes!
