How to Work with Contacts in Domino CRM
We recently redesigned the contact information blocks. That’s why our team decided to share how the Domino CRM chatbot builder supports working with individual users.
As you know, a chatbot is typically designed to interact with a broad audience. That’s where our mass broadcasts, automated funnels, and flows with segmentation fields come in. At the same time, our chatbot builder also lets you drill down to the level of a single contact—so you can track and analyze any unique case when needed.
1. The section you’ll need in your dashboard is called ‘Contacts.’ Open it, and you’ll immediately see a complete list of everyone who has ever interacted with your business chatbot. Each entry displays the first name, last name, Telegram username, and the date they entered one of your bots.

2. Above the contact list, you'll find a filter, as well as buttons to add either a single new contact or upload a full contact base manually. The filter allows you to quickly find the desired contacts using Telegram's native identifiers, as well as by contact fields (you can read more about fields in this article).

3. If you click ‘+ New Contact,’ you can manually enter a contact—just make sure you know their Telegram ID and have a bot to assign them to.

4. Finally, if you have a large contact database, you can import it using the ‘Import Contacts’ function via a CSV file (we provide a sample template for convenience).

5. Clicking on a contact row opens their detailed profile card. There, you’ll see their name, Telegram ID, username, and a list of assigned bots. Below that, you’ll find the contact fields, where you can manually enter values and provide descriptions.

6. Clicking ‘+ New Field’ lets you create a custom field using one of six available formats.
There’s also a dedicated ‘Start Chat’ button that takes you directly to the dialogue section.

Managing contacts in Domino CRM is intuitive and requires no technical skills. Give it a try!
